Mrs Vandita Patel

Mrs Vandita Patel is a Psychologist, Mental Health Advocate, Speaker and Founder of The Psy-tech counselling and wellness studio, Nagpur. She  also works as a trainer of  “Child safety Education program” and “Adolescent education program ” in educational institutions.

She is fond of her profession and has completed her Bachelors in Industrial Microbiology and Masters in Psychology .

She is also certified in : 

  1. Kautilya Arthashastra   and political science 
  2. Child  safety Education program
  3. Soft skills trainer.

Vandita has been actively engaged in raising mental health awareness, destigmatizing mental illnesses and making therapy affordable for all. She has been invited by various organizations, colleges, and NGOs to talk about mental health, therapy, emotional well-being, life skills and related issues.

She is a practicing psychologist and focuses on helping people deal with mental   illnesses FOR more than four year  Vandita has been actively engaged in community service such as environmental activist, awareness program for mental and emotional well-being.

As a person, she resonates with the shades of human experiences and believes in celebrating small steps. She is hopeful to create a community that does not stigmatize mental sssillnesses and where people do not hesitate to reach out for help. She is a very enthusiastic person who is keen to learn and grow.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are causing people's problems and thus change the way they feel.

Psychoanalysis

Developed by Sigmund Freud, psychoanalysis is a long-term therapy that explores unconscious motivations and conflicts through techniques like free association, dream analysis, and transference.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

It is also known as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), it is a goal-directed collaborative approach to psychotherapeutic change that is conducted through direct observation of clients' responses to a series of precisely constructed questions.

Person-Centered Therapy

Developed by Carl Rogers, this approach focuses on the individual's self-worth and values. The therapist provides a supportive environment in which the client can reconnect with their true self and achieve personal growth.

Integrated Therapy

Integrated therapy combines elements from different therapeutic approaches to best meet the individual needs of the client. It is a flexible and holistic approach that draws on techniques from various therapeutic models.

I felt a lot better about being prepared to handle the stress and changes in this time of my life. She gave me the reassurance which I was seeking, it's not my fault and that I can't control everything happening in my life. We need to make mental health as important as physical health.There is no shame in seeking help for your mental health. Mental health is not a taboo, It's okay to not be okay, it's okay to ask for help. If you are not able to handle it it's ok to ask for help.
